New E-3008: The Peugeot Next-Level Electric SUV

Impressing an international expert panel of 39 judges, the New Peugeot E-3008 won the ‘Red Dot Award 2024’ this summer for its cutting-edge design that incorporates a stunning fastback SUV silhouette, sharp LED headlights, a next generation Peugeot Panoramic i-Cockpit, and it’s overall sweeping aerodynamic appearance and added luxury features. Who could deny it in metallic ‘Obsession Blue’? We at Griffin Mill certainly can’t!

Design Director at Peugeot, Matthias Hossan, responded to the award, stating: ‘I am delighted that the new design of the PEUGEOT E-3008 has been recognised with the Red Dot Design Award. The PEUGEOT E-3008 combines the ingenuity and tenacity of PEUGEOT and epitomises all of our brand values. Reinventing the PEUGEOT 3008 meant modernising its image and harmonising dynamic design and optimum efficiency using a fastback silhouette. This award proves that our team’s creativity has paid off.’

The interior design doesn’t compromise on this deserved reward either, with the cabin featuring high-quality finishes such as fabric-accents, soft-touch surfaces, and heated alcantara or leather upholstery facilitating a premium seating experience. Adjustable ambient-lighting enhances the home-like feel as soon as you step into the E-3008, and a discreet cool-box is there to be your best-friend when you’re feeling peckish on those late-night road trips.

It further impresses us with it’s 21-inch curved floating digital display, housing the main infotainment system that’s set-up with navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and customizable 'i-Toggle' shortcut buttons that can be used for climate control and audio settings, providing a tech-advanced yet at the same time, user-friendly experience for all.

Last but certainly not least, one of the most notable features of this EV is its highly competitive electric range.  Equipped with various battery options, the long-range version offers up to 435 miles on a single charge, which makes it one of the most capable and affordable EVs for long distance travel.  It’s also available with various powertrain configurations, including a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version with 322 bhp, ensuring robust performance for a vehicle of this segment.
