Student of the Year

Every year Griffin Mill Garages in conjunction with Rhondda Cynon Taf run an award called the Outstanding Student of the Year Award, the main prize being a fully funded brand new Peugeot 207 for your first year at university.

There are 19 secondary schools in Rhondda Cyon Taf and each is asked to nominate one student from the current year 13. All of the nominees get invited to a day out to meet your fellow competitors. In September following your A-Level results you, along with your parents or friends get invited to a great night out where the car and other prizes are presented everyone gets a prize!

There is only one student per school, so to be nominated you must be able to demonstrate what a great representative for the school you are.

We are looking for students with all round abilities, academic abilities alone are not enough!

Are you actively involved in sport or the arts?
Do you get involved with any charitable or community activities?
Do you plan to go straight to university after your A-Levels?

If you can answer yes to most of the above then get your application in now to your head of sixth form.
