From my first visit to look at the range of Skodas I was made to feel welcomed and valued as a customer. At every stage of the buying process I was informed of what was happening and all my questions were answered.
I would and have recommended Griffin Mill and the team to my friends, colleagues and family. If in the future I am looking to change my car I will not hesitate to return to Griffin Mill and the excellent sales team. I must especially thank Mr Ben Lewis for his attention and help.

Dear Mr Griffin

I would like to take this opportunity to give praise where praise is fully due in respect of my first ever new car purchase with Griffin Mill.

I have just received my ŠKODA Octavia and have been dealing with Mr Lee Hanney from day one, he was working within the ŠKODA department when I first met him and he has now moved to Nissan but has followed my order progress through to the end.

From the first point of contact Lee has been friendly, professional, clear and precise in his guidance through the purchase of my car. I have been keep up to date, and I have asked lots and lots of questions concerning the car, warranty, servicing etc. and Lee has been on top of the situation and kept me informed and answered all my questions put to him.

The service I have received has been impeccable. My old car insurance ran out March 1st and we were given a courtesy car from yourselves until ours arrived. More than we expected. In reflection it is not just Lee but Barry who has also had an input into our situation as I assume being Lee's manager he is responsible for the decisions and agreed the price with Lee I paid for the car also made the decision that we could have a courtesy car on loan. So a thank you is due to the both Lee and Barry. I could have purchased the exact same car from another supplier for £ 400 cheaper but the reason I did not, was down to the commitment from Lee and also your company being the local Skoda main dealer to me. I am a member of a Skoda Forum website with lots of members on various topics and you will find a link below on Griffin Mill Garage.

For the record I am Skodaman0164 and you can see the posts I have made and other customers concerning Griffin Mill's service past and present. I will continue to endorse your company with positive feedback over the next few years regarding the service I receive from your company whether the feedback is positive or negative in respect of my cars maintenance and the service I receive, but I have no doubt in my mind that it will be all positive from my current experience of Griffin Mill. Another possible thing to keep us customers informed on the status of the car, again on the forum was that another Skoda dealer is offering a service for tracking your car directly with the SLI number.

I was given my SLI number by Barry and Lee but it did not work for us. As I later read on the forum that only authorised customers from that Skoda retailer would work. I think if your company could provide this service for your customers it would take pressure off your sales team as us the customer love to know, day by day hour by hour where our car is. Just a though from me being a customer. Finally I am a self-employed sole trader responsible for the maintenance of commercial and domestic properties and deal with lots of people on a daily basis. I provide them with my services in maintaining the buildings and fully appreciate Lee' s hard work he has done for me personally, as I treat all my customers as Lee has treated me in a friendly but professional manner.

I hope you don't mind me contacting you but feel I had to relay my personal feedback on the treatment that I have received from your company.

I am writing to ask you to thank your service receptionists on my behalf for their help in sorting out a recent problem with my car which was 13 days out of Manufacturer's Warranty. I had called the ŠKODA Customer Care number myself to ask could they help with resolving the problem (a rattle in the tailgate and nearside passenger front door) which had developed, the vehicle is one owner has full service history with Griffin Mill and covered only 18,000 miles. ŠKODA were less than helpful, which surprised me, given the publicity they promote.

So I decided to call your garage in the hope I could get some help. I know some of your front desk service team from my visits for service and recently an MOT, and explained the problem, Roger asked if I could bring the car in that afternoon and if the rattles could be fixed quickly then there would be no charge and carried out under your goodwill programme. I brought the ŠKODA Fabia in, and one of your technicians looked at the trouble, took the car away and returned a short time later with the rattles fixed. Absolutely brilliant. Other members of your service team also very worthy of a mention are Theresa and Kai. 

I would like them to know how helpful they are. Other dealerships could learn a lot from your policy. I will recommend Griffin Mill to friends and family. Thank you. Finally as we plan to keep the ŠKODA Fabia for another year or longer given the low mileage can I purchase an extended warranty with you, I would be interested in finding out which that might cost and the level of cover provided if available.
