Many cars have been and gone in the intervening years but Ian has always been a fixture at our dealership’s accident repair centre and bodyshop.

His experience and skill have made him an essential member of our team and in celebration of the milestone, Mr. Clarke was presented with a bottle of champagne by our Managing Director, Anthony Griffin.

Ian joined the company on the 17th October 1987, on a two-year Youth Training Scheme. After learning the essentials of the trade during his training course, Ian was offered a permanent position on the 19th October 1989. He has been developing his skills as a technician ever since.

Ian Mr. Clarke, a self-confessed perfectionist, marks seeing the final product as the most rewarding part of his job.

"Every day is different, and it can all be very challenging some days... I could be working on one car, or have four to keep track of. But seeing the job through and admiring the finished article is a great feeling.”

When he’s not restoring damaged cars to their former glory, Ian likes to spend time watching football and rugby, supporting Liverpool FC and following many regional clubs including Pontypridd RFC, of whom Griffin Mill are official sponsors.
